Traditional indoor navigation systems typically require expensive deployment of Bluetooth beacons, Wi-Fi triangulation hardware, UWB infrastructure, or dedicated indoor positioning sensors throughout physical spaces. These deployments are costly to maintain, difficult to scale across large venues, and impractical for rapidly evolving environments such as airports, event venues, malls, and smart buildings.

Developed a live indoor navigation engine that extended static turn-by-turn routing into real-time indoor positioning and movement tracking without requiring additional physical beacon or sensor infrastructure. The system leveraged GPS initialization, smartphone motion sensors (IMU, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer), and deep spatial understanding of mapped indoor environments to continuously estimate user movement and provide live navigation experiences similar to Google Maps — but for indoor spaces.

The experience combines React Native, React, TypeScript, MapLibre in a responsive system designed to stay clear, fast, and reliable across devices.
